In June 1971, women in Quebec were still not allowed to set foot in a tavern. A dozen feminists invited themselves to the Tremblay tavern to demand an end to this anachronism. To mark the 50th anniversary of the event, Dunham teamed up with sound artists Jenny Cartwright and David Cherniak to create a documentary that tells the long story of segregation in Quebec taverns.
